Where’s the Money, Honey?

money treeEver wondered how you could pull in a few more bucks without burning the midnight oil? I certainly have; I have tried ‘til I cried. My sister experimented with the concept, and found success only when she opened a brick-and-mortar store. My neighbors are still trying to make it work. I, for one, have long wondered how or even if it is possible to make money alongside the giants like Amazon and E-Bay. I tried the Google Ads, I tried the tag-line links, I tried the controversial subjects, and I tried the secondary sales techniques. Nothing. Zip. Zero. Bubkas. Nada. (I could go on… )

What am I doing wrong? Is there something I’m not doing? Who can I ask? What books should I read? Hunting the internet for answers is so time consuming that I… oh, wait! I’m late for an appointment!

Seems there’s always something in the way of my success. So here I sit, question marks for my crown of confusion.

Then I met Erica. Erica Barton, writer and web-surfer par excellence, has been making money from her blog for years!

With kids at home and an online job (how cool is that?!), Erica looked into it… and found a solution.

Or rather, she created a solution.

Erica Barton Erica has built an enviable online presence with her bookkeeping blog, her avid traveler blog and her flying tips blog. Her success has prompted her to share; she has prepared an online course for anyone who wants to know these secrets. She will cover marketing, advertising, social sites, promotions, contests, guest blogging and a host of alternate methods of kick starting your website or blog into money making action. Best of all, she hones in on the life of the writer, and that’s me. Writers spend so much time alone in their cave trying to figure out what the world wants of them, that this ‘intervention’ is an easy and comfortably solitary way to get the advice we want.

Her program’s goal is for the student to attract 5000 subscribers to their site. Yeah, I know; my mouth dropped open when I heard that, too. She will lay down the procedures, explain how to use tools and hand over tid-bits of insider information (all legal) from ProBlogger to HubPages. I can’t wait! (squeal!)

Through all of this she will mentor you and hold your hand, answering personal questions about the material. You cannot afford not to take this inexpensive course ($15 for LARA members, $20 for non-members, register here) for the entire month of September, 2010.

Sure sounds like the Holy Grail of Success, to me!
